Materials needed:
USA light worsted (3), UK double knitting, AU 8ply
40g/ 1.4ozs

Crochet Hook UK 4mm & 4.5mm, USA F & G

Gauge -using G hook and double strand, 8sc x 9 rows to 2"(5cm)

Tension - using 4.5mm hook and double strand, 8dc x 9 rows to 2"(5cm)

Abbreviations: ch- chain, sc- single crochet, beg- beginning, sl.st- slip stitch
rep- repeat

Using 2 strands of red light worsted yarn(3) together and G hook

Ch13
Row 1: 1sc into 2nd ch from hook, 1sc into each st to end, turn. (12sts)
Row 2: Ch1, 2sc into the first st, 1sc into next 10sts, 2sc into last st, turn. (14sts)
Row 3: Ch1, 2sc into the first st, 1sc into next 12sts, 2sc into last st, turn. (16sts)
Row 4: Ch1, 2sc into the first 2sts, 1sc into next 12sts, 2sc into last 2sts, turn. (20sts)
